Now, let me get a little personal:
The WBS is my like 3rd baby (see my first two human children below). I’m glad you’re here because I can only imagine how frustrated, alone and pissed off you feel.
The WBS was born out of my own frustration.  
I was that nutritionist who after two years of trying to figure out how to make it all work, decided that the traditional model of working 1:1 with clients wasn’t going to work for me. So I changed the traditional model of working 1:1 with clients to working one-to-many (aka a group program) and my business blew up.  

Except that my impact and profitability was still capped by time and geographic boundaries.   

In May 2011 I made MY NO PLAN B DECISION that I was going to transform my life. So I flew to California to attend a live business building event. I sat in a room with people (mostly men) who thought like me, who wanted more out of life, who didn’t make excuses and the most impactful thing -- I was exposed to new business frameworks, new ways of doing things and so much possibility that I had never been aware of before.

In a matter of 2 days, I had a clear and concise path to follow that was laid out for me by people who have already succeeded in doing what I wanted to do. I no longer had to guess or figure it out on my own.

That ONE DECISION changed the trajectory of my life (and my family’s life). 

Fast forward just a few short years, I now run a multi 7-figure business with an amazing team, we have the honour of working with thousands of clients from all over the world, my workday ends at 2:55 pm. I take vacations where I don’t even have to check in AND the business still runs but more importantly it still generates revenue even when I’m not there.
And it all started when I took the risk to fly 
to California to attend a live event.
While that event and others like it are great, I felt like I was a square peg trying to fit into a round hole. I recognized there was a massive gap in the industry and so I 
decided to fill it with The Wellness Business Summit.

I was at the WBS in 2017, is the content new and will I be bored?
A lot has changed in the last 2 years. Yes, the content is all new and you will absolutely NOT be bored. In fact, you are in a much better position to absorb, understand and take action on this year’s content because you’ve attended the WBS in the past.
 
We have a new lineup of speakers who are bringing their A-game and secret tips to the stage this year PLUS you get the added bonus of attending the Mix & Mingle Party.
I’m still a student; I don’t have a business and I am afraid I won’t have a clue what anyone is talking about… should I still come?
The whole reason I’ve created The Wellness Business Summit is to ensure that students, new business owners and seasoned business owners have an event where they can come to learn the business strategies specific to health and wellness.

I wish I had this information when I was still in school. This is your chance to model success so you don’t waste time trying to figure it all out alone. We have many students who come to The Wellness Business Summit, especially distance students. It’s so nice for you to meet other students and network with future colleagues. 
I run a brick & mortar clinic and have no intention of offering programs online, should I still come?
YES! It’s important to invest in business development and to always be on top of the trends and marketing strategies that are working right now in the health, wellness and fitness niches. Even though you have no intention of running programs online, you can’t dismiss that learning how to market your business online is vital to your bottom line.
There is no way around it, the internet, specifically social media, is the first place potential clients will go to check out your business and if you don’t have even a small online presence you’ve lost the prospect to someone who does.

Travel & Accommodation Information
The Wellness Business Summit is being held at The Globe & Mail Centre. It’s located in downtown Toronto.

Depending on where you are flying in from you can fly into either Pearson Toronto International Airport or Billy Bishop Airport. You can also take a train or public transportation.  

There is no set hotel for the WBS. Air B & B is your best option along with any of the hotels near the venue.
There are plenty of Green P parking options. Download the Green P app so you can easily park and pay without having to return to your car.
Food & Beverage
Both of the meal options are gluten and dairy-free. You can choose from vegan or paleo.
If you have an anaphylactic food allergy please ensure that you let us know by May 1st so that we can accommodate you. Coffee, tea and water (along with some surprise beverages) will be served throughout the event. Bite-sized snacks will be sampled and/or sold during the 3-day event.
Is There A Single Day Ticket Option?
Unfortunately, the answer is no. 
Do You Have To Pay Extra To Get Into The Mix & Mingle Party?
No way! You are our guest and admission is FREE as soon as you registered to attend The Wellness Business Summit. The Mix & Mingle party is your chance to get outside of your comfort zone, dress up or down and let loose.
There is an option to add on a + 1 so you can bring someone to the Mix & Mingle party with you. You will receive a separate email with information about the party and how to RSVP closer to the event date. 

What If I Register To Attend But Have To Cancel? Do You Offer A Refund?
Book the babysitter, tell the family you are heading out of town for the weekend and prepare as far in advance as possible. I strongly encourage you to make the decision NOW to attend The Wellness Business Summit. As a mom of two, I know that things come up unexpectedly.

We have two policies that you can follow:  
1. If you need to refund your ticket you can do so prior to April 1st, 2019. We will issue you a full refund. After this date no refund will be issued.

2. After April 1st, 2019 you are welcome to sell/transfer your ticket to someone else. 
Can I Bring A Friend Or Colleague?
YES! The more support and accountability you have in your life the more successful you will be. It’s always fun to go to an event like this with a familiar face. In fact, you can bring a friend or colleague for $397. If the bring-a-friend wants the VIP ticket option they’re required to pay full price.

You’ll get access to the bring-a-friend ticket option after you register for the event. There will be a link to the bring-a-friend page in the welcome email you get. 
What Is The Dress Code? 
You do you! Wear comfy clothes that you feel good in. We never know what Toronto weather will bring. It’s June so it should be warm and sunny but make sure you check the weather leading up to the event. Bring a sweater because the venue will be air-conditioned.
